About Us

The New Legacy Home for Women is a discipleship program that has 24 beds. Our program is safe, free of charge, non-government funded, voluntary, and faith-based. The New Legacy Home is available to women ages 21 and over from all socio-economic backgrounds. We serve women exiting the criminal justice system who desire a positive change in their lives, as well as women who need to move out of habits caused by drug and alcohol use, issues of anger, failure, rejection, and doubt. Single moms, abused women, and women needing to get a GED or job skills are all welcome.

The New Legacy program lasts fifteen months and is divided into three phases (Genesis, Proverbs, and Revelation), culminating with a graduation ceremony. It is designed to offer women the best possible environment to write a new life story by providing necessary tools to live healthy, independent, productive lives that will leave a positive impact on Lubbock and their families.

The Lubbock Dream Center

The Lubbock Dream Center exists to see social and spiritual transformation come to our city. We desire to see the hearts and minds of people transformed by the Word of God and by the love and acceptance of the body of Christ. We take people from dependence to a place of responsibility by meeting people’s basic needs and building relationships with them. This opens the door for spiritual needs to be met, which in turn brings social transformation, resulting in life pattern changes, economic rise, and neighborhood improvements.

Church on the Rock

In the middle of 2014, the Talkington Life Center at our Dream Center campus was built. This facility provides a multi-purpose room that can be used during the week for after-school programs and many other things, as well as a sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Every building and all the facilities owned by Church on the Rock are simply tools in the hands of God, and we are excited to see where He grows things from here.
